Ever since the 8th grade, I have been obsessed with my smile. Why wouldn’t I be? After years of braces and endless orthodontist appointments, I finally got my braces taken off – the night before senior picture day. Needless to say, I have a toothy grin in the yearbook, and have been meticulously whitening and flossing ever since.

In the past few years, I’ve tried everything: whitening strips, professional whitening trays, GoSmile- the only thing I never tried is an in-office whitening procedure because frankly, I can’t afford it.

Sweet Charity Cake Event for SCV Youth Project

On April 21, 2012, Whitening Lightning was proud to sponsor the 4th Annual Sweet Charity Cake Auction benefiting SCV Youth Project www.helpnothassle.org . What an amazing event to help an organization that focuses on helping kids society often leaves behind.

Kim Goldman, Executive Director of SVC Youth Project was present to see the event she dreamed up eclipse her highest expectations. Other attendees included board members Jackie MacDougall, Jerri Goldman, and Jerry Citarella along with MADtv's own Andrew Bowen.

The cakes were spectacular including an Arctic habitat for penguins created by Jill's Cakes for KHTS 1220AM, an Eat More Chikin themed cake for Chik Fil A and of course, Whitening Lightning's entry, our logo brought to life in the bakery of Kokalita Cakes.

Whitening Lightning especially enjoyed participating in this event since the funds do so much great work in our own community. Many local families are touched by SCV Youth Project each week. They are truly making a difference in our great community!
